Got back from Norway, where we did the first Future Library launch, with artist Katie Paterson and the Oslo Library. I’ve agreed to contribute to Hope Nicholson’s graphic art and comics project, Secret Loves of Geek Girls, by drawing some comic strips for it.

Speaking of comics, I’ve just got the “pencils” for the graphic version of The Handmaid’s Tale from artist Renée Nault. Exciting to have reached this stage!

And Beau’s All-Natural Brewery has just done another “edition” of NooBroo, made in honour of the MaddAddam Trilogy. http://beaus.ca/beer/maddaddamites-noobroo/

This beer contains ingredients mentioned in the trilogy, its labels echoes motifs from the books, and the sale of it benefits the Pelee Island Bird Observatory. Virtuous beer!

Stone Mattress: Nine Wicked Tales is now out in paperback, with a wonderful cover featuring a raven.

There are some in the book, but maybe this one has a slight echo of Poe…
